My breeding Pair of Dovii

Here is a video of my pair of Dovii. Female is around 6 inches and the male probably close to 17 inches.

Thier first breeding attempt was unsuccesful ( felt it would have been). Eggs fungased over. Time for a water change and a second try.

First time is always tuff to pull off. I had a powerhead in there that may have blown his "man hood" all over the tank and not on the eggs. I'm going to add a piece of slate also to make things easier.

He is so mean to anything else. I once had him a female jag in with him but she harrassed him all day till he snapped. This female was slowly introdced to him...so sofar so good.

LOL the size difference is ridiculous , comical even. When he looked at that pleco flailing around, I thought he found lunch! Hahaha
