My breeding pair of gold saums

What do you guys think? they are only 3-4 inch but have breed twice now. One thing that bothers me is that they fight as soon as the babys are free swiming and end up with a clutch each that they defend against eachother. Both are very agressive and when sumped beside two 10" oscars they both banged the glass to try and get them. The first lot of fry are about 1/2" and some upto 1" i had to seperate the bigger ones they killed like 20 over night. Just not sure if their finage is good enough for quality breeders.

Thanks everyone, i had 2 pair but the other male killed his mate. Now looking for a new home for him, normally that would be the lfs but it burnt down

They are gold's but they are not very bright. Anybody know if it will get better as they get bigger?

Their redish/orange is based on carotenes in the diet, as well as lighting.

yeah try changing the diet up a bit for some better coloring
