My breeding set up

Here are a couple of shots of my set up. The little tank inside my pond is something I built for when the pups are born so they never are taken out of the birthing water. My filter in the back is something I came up with because there was no room anywhere else in my garage. I have a big pump that pushes water up into it then (4) 1 1/2 inch pipes come out of the bottom. The filter/ waterflow makes my pond have a lot of water movement that the rays love. The pond is just a plywood pond with epdm liner. There is 6 inches of insulation on the bottom and 3 1/2 inches of insulation on the sides.

Like the pup tank idea. I take it you got the liner taken care of and the rays are fine?

It was the filter on top of the pond the popped a seam. And yes everything is back together

Does anyone know what this type of filter is called. It's just something I came up with. Would it be a reverse sump?
