my bros pikes

So guys me and my brother have loved pike cichlids ever since we started the hobby 6 years ago. well me and him decided to clean his tank today and take pictures of them and i think his green pike is a sveni but im not sure? i think female sveni tho. and maybe if you guys could sex the orange pikes than that would be awesome. enjoy!

very nice. is there alot of fighting in that tank or they all get along well?

the sveni appears to be a female and the xingu 1's appear to be male.

theres actually hardly any fighting except when everything gets pulled out of the tank to get cleaned then theres a little jaw locking but otherwise no fighting. hes had them for about a year and raised them all from 1". the reason the sveni is so scuffed up is because it was killing my brothers peacocks so my bro through it in my tank with my jags. well it got pretty beat up for about 2 months then we put it back in because the xingu's killed the peacocks anyways. so ya

ya to bad my male sveni choked on two rosies. hes the one in my profile. they would have made a beautiful pair. but they are currently housed in a 55g tank but we are in the process of making a 100g tester tank then we gunna make a big bad 300g tank thats gunna be like 20" high like 30" in depth and like 6 feet long
