It finally ate FOOD!!!! Every time I would give it worms, etc.. it would push the food to the other side of the tank. This fish would constantly clean instead of eating. I had been very worried that it was going to die.

I had asked my Dad(Fishes all the time) if I should out a piece of beef in the tank. He told me "NO!!! Keep offering the fish worms, the fish will eat when it's ready." The fish was caught on 5-28-10 so you can see why I was worried.

So I found my fish food that I stored called HBH Super Soft Krill pellets and the Super Soft Spirulina pellets. It started sucking the kril pellets in. So I also threw the spirulina and the fish really started eating. The eating date was 6-29-10.

After a while, you know the fish started pushing the pellets to the front. I thought at least it ate some. The catfish started swimming with it's head down and shaking the body left and and right really quickly. I was thinking it was adjusting to the pellets. I wondered if this behavior was voluntary, so I walked toward the tank and the fish stopped. Maybe a few pellets got stuck.

If the fish does it again, I'll try and get video. I am so relieved that the catfish is eating!!!! :grinno::grinno::grinno::clap:clap:mwave::mwave::lol2::lol2::lol2::D:D:popcorn::popcorn::ROFL::ROFL::grinno::grinno::grinno:

By setting up my tank the way it is, has given me insight of catfish behavior. I have heard and read that the catfish take time to find food and I agree. I love the way it cruises thrugh the tank. It seems like the fish is moving slow, but when I try and take shots of the fish I go through 5-10 shots before I can get one clear enough to show everyone. It is amazing how fast it can turn and move.
