His Stock: long 55 gal.
- Endlicheri Bichir 6"
- Rope fish 9" (this one is the sick one with the white dots, most likely ick)
- Peacock Bass 5"
- African Butterfly fish 5"

His problem is treating the Ropefish. Apparently Bichirs are sensitive to Ick medication, so he put in half the dose. But hes been unable to find anything on how sensitive the ropefish is to malachite green(API ick medication). The Endlicheri was unaffected by the ick, and all of the other fish have been too, it seems to just be the rope. So he wants this solved before this becomes a problem in his tank. He also has an acount on here but it wont let him sign in so that why I am posting this. HALP:WHOA:

Read the sticky on Curing ick with aquarium salt and, raising the temperature. Work wonderfully.

He did that and it didn't do much, have to double check on this forum but as I've heard its one tbsp per gallon

if it's just the rope that has it put it in another tank and do a huge water change and up the temp so the others don't get it. as far as treating the rope i would just up the temp put some aquarium salt in and use the medication. It's not going to disappear right when you do this you have to do for like a week or something. Chances are that if you're rope had it long enough it's already spread to the tank, but if you up the temep use 1 tbsp of salt per gallon, use the meds, and if you do repeated water changes (like 1-2 everyday) it should disappear pretty quick.
