Hey guys, been out of fish keeping for a couple of years but i'm in again, cannot stay away for long 
So i had never kept discus, after months of thinking and researching i decided to get some tanks and some discus. I got this Bulldog Rafflesia pair a month ago and they spawned some 35 hours ago.The male did not exactly follow the female after she spawned and it did not seem like he went up the cone to fertilize the eggs, looked more curious and kept blowing at the eggs. After 3 hours i put a protective cover around the eggs (with the best i can come up with a plastic bottle at 3 in the morning) because he really started to aggressively nibble at the eggs and ate some.
Complete discus newbie, so please advise on what to do next, added blue liquid and a airstone.
