my douche bag friend dangled a rubberband in my tank and my 10-11 inch spotted bullhead grabed and and ate it before i could snatch it.. iv raised him since he was about an inch,so i really dont want him to die :(... can anyone tell me if will throw it back up or what to do?!?!

he might even pass it through i ate a rubberband once heres wat u do beat the **** out of ur freind

i might pass if it was a little one

Rubber bands tend to disintegrate in the water after some time so it may just pass out of the system in time. High fiber diet will help him push it out of his system.

thanks guys!! it was a big ****in rubberband tho.. it went around my wrist easy and was thick.. but thanks and ima get on that fiber!!

Many catfish have the ability vomit. I've heard multiple stories (and have personally had the wonderful experience) of catfish eating a non-food item and then them vomiting it back up a few days later. Sometimes they are not able to and they end up needing surgery. More often than not, though, they manage to throw things up. Watch the water parameters in your tank, because if he does vomit, the ammonia levels usually spikes pretty bad.

I hope you find a rubber band in your tank soon.

yes this is true!! i fed him some corn a while back.. he loved it but threw it all back up the next day!! so i hope thats whats goin to happen.
