Hey guys I bought a butterikofi yesterday and put him in my 125. I then went out and bought a 10" Jag for 25.00 BUCKS!!! what a deal. But when I when I went to put my jag in the 125 I looked at my favorite fish the butterikofi and he was pale! almost white/gray and he has a red ribbon look at the end of each tail and at the joint of each fin. I took him out of the 125 and put him in my quarantine tank which has a little aquarium salt but not much. Then I raised the temp to 79 and added 10 drops of quick cure. Now im not a fan of quick cure but I had it and no pet stores are open at 10 p.m. Will this help? should I raise the temp to 81-83?

blood on edges of fins, reddened areas at base of fins

i would put both remadies in and i hope u have a divider handy a jag and butti in the same tank there will be trouble.Believe it or not the jag is MELLOW! He was in a tank with gars which are calm. so hes really good. and the buttikoferi is pretty mellow...pretty ***...
A good anti bacterial and warm water at least 82, but a fool grown buttikoferi will destroy everything in there with it. Mine killed almost everything in there with it, until I moved him out of my 125.
