Well the gm swap is actually easier, and the gm engine is much better a lot of aluminum save a lot of weight
 
I see. Well I guess you could have used the newer 4.7L V8 since it's aluminum. I'm just not a big fan of swapping engines of the "Big 3". I just rebuilt the upper half of my 318 in my Grand Cherokee. Someday when I have some money I'll tune it up they way I want it.
