No this is not a fight thread... LOL

I just cannot believe the difference between the two! When I kept my mbuna Cichlids all they did was hide and chase each other around the tank. Now that I have my Con and FM it's completely different. They are beggars! Anytime I walk up to the tank they have to come greet me. Then they go up top like they want me to feed them. My mbuna never did this.

You came over too the dark side... soon you'll forget all about africans and completely convert over to CA/SA cichlids! *Evil Laugh* Sorry, I just hate africans with a passion. They're like a painting... they're colorful but do nothing.

when i first started to get serious with the hobby several years back i had a 135g with africans. they were cool, but just didnt do it for me. now that i came back im into ca/sa fish. they are sooooooo much better

actually, my mbuna beg all the time. as soon as their light comes on, they are swimming around the top of the tank in groups, begging me for food.

My mbuna beg for food when anyone comes in the room. They are always out and about.

Hmm.. mine didn't. Maybe it's because I only had 5 in a 55G. Who knows.

That would be my guess. I have over 20 in my 55 (most are still babies).

I will admit 1 thing though, they are LITTLE monsters! Some of the meanest and most aggressive fish I've seen.

I've always wanted one of these guys but was always told he'd be a "loner".. LOL On another forum they highlighted his profile for aggressiveness.
