my cat is afraid of a possum LOL

my adult male cat is afraid of even going near the doors because he was stareing at a opossum through a shut glass window last night i think he was saying to himself ':WTF:is that a giant rat??'.the powssum was the same size as him and the powssum saw my cat and charged at the window and started snarling and hissing my cat took off and made some sounds like he was saying to himself ' s##t im outa here' it was hillarious but i have to get rid of that mean old possum so those coyotes dont come.

I used to have a possum that came up onto the back porch sometimes back when I lived in Washington state and it was super ugly and scary looking. If I was a cat, I'd run away too.

I live in the country and theres always an opossum laying dead on the side of the road, there so ugly!!

I would not let the house cat get anywhere near a ferrel animal. Thats either a large vet bill or a pet funeral. We have racoons here and when the sun goes down, the cat comes in.

I found a baby in my pool last Wednesday. It was so cute. I saved him. I picked him up, dryed him off, held him, pet him and fed him. I just let him go. He was nice.

i used to live on a farm. i was once walking into a barn to grab something and a huge opossum chased me out and across the road.

yeah i ran like the little girl i was. and id do it again.
