My catfish acting strange

Hey all,
I just got a Pictus cat 3 days ago and he has acted strange ever since i got him. He hides under my internal corner filter and swims in cirlcles around it.....he doesnt eat either I have turned the light off for a day and that didnt help at all! I know he isnt a monster but i thought you guys could help

But i am getting a monster tank soon! something in the 8' range, but i have to save up so i will most likely get it early next year! red tailed cats will be on the agenda

That tank better be at least 4' wide if RTC is on the agenda.

Give the pictus cat a few more days to acclimate himself. Odds are, he staked out that area as his territory. What are you feeding, attempting to feed him for that matter?

Give the pictus some time, a lot of fish take several days before they feel safe enough to explore or eat.

just make sure water parameters are in check. pictus hiding is ok, pictus swimming in circles is questionable.

Im feeding him Hikari blood worms, he isnt touching them
the first day he ate ONE but that is all
