MY CATFISH DIED, BUT HOW?????

hi people,
i just had a thread asking if he was blind but since i posted that he just went down hill and unfortunatly hes now passed and in the freezer.
so could someone see if they can tell me a) if its contageous as he was in with other fish and b) just so i know iv done the right thing and all i could to make him comfortable.

no idea, i only have a simple water test kit, but all my other fish are fine so i dont think its a problem,and i had just done a water change. but i will take a water sample to my lfs 2mo

is it me, or does the skin look like it's bleeding in the inside? or it could be fish trying to finish his body!

yea he does look like that because there was no actual blood if that makes sense?
he was put in a tank on his own when i noticed he was ill and i was literally watching him the whole way until he died, hoping i wouldnt have to get clove oil, but no need he did it himself.
