My cats died.........

Well I woke up yesterday and found both my shovel nose limas had kicked the bucket. They were torn up like something had eaten then. And to top it off my eldest clown loach was tits up and dead.
They were fine when I went to bed, at least the shovel nose's were, and then this happens.
The loach had it coming, he had ich and hadent eaten in a while, but the limas were a complete surprise. The only other fish in the tank were clown loaches and tinfoil barbs. Both of which are far smaller than the limas. So WTF? Anybody got any ideas on why my cats are dead?

Oh fun I just found another clown loach dead. This tank is going great........

That sucks man. Were you treating the tank for ich? Limas would be just as susceptible to clowns when it comes to the ich parasite.

yeah I was treating the tank. Had some ich cure going in it and a little bit of aquarium salt too.

uuhhh..sorry for your lost pal....i'll hope others haven't same fate..

the ich meeds can really stress them out were they chewed up like they had tears and you could see blood and mussle

It just looked like the under side of my shovel noses had been completely caved in or eaten. The clown loach didnt look like he had been chewed up at all. He was just really really slimy for some reason.
