So I am finally starting to make progress on my Channa Asiatica set up

I am off out today to hopefully get some more cover for the surface to dim the bright light. Although the lights are bright it doesnt stop these little guys being so active. There are currently 3 Asiatica in the tank and I am looking to add a fourth today with the hope of eventually getting a pair.

These guys are currently 3-4 inch in length and are really starting to show their personalities and I have yet to see any aggression between them (although it seems inevitable I will have to remove all but one or two of these guys further down the road) but for now I am just enjoying their inquisitiveness with their surroundings and each other.

Here are a few pics that I managed to get on the odd occasion they remained stationery.

Nice little asiatica.

You lucky guy! So many channa crossed my life and not once have I seen Asiatica :)

Nice tank setup. Try floating plants from like Home Depot. They are cheap and cover a large area and will block light. If no Home Depot then something similar as ur in Europe.

Thanks. These guys are awesome to watch and each of them has their own very distinctive personality. I would love to grow a small group up together with no trouble, highly unlikely, but it has been done before so I can only try
