Nice little gachua , i recommend adding floating cover itll make them more comfirtable so theyll have better colors and will be less likly to try and escape.
Isn't this a bit too tall for them? Coz they've to swim a lot to get a breath. Check with few others who have kept these in similar conditions. They're relatively less skittish than most Channa I've seen, so its a good thing.
the water is only 30cm deep, they seem happy enough, and i have some floating cover in there now and added c02 which is helping the plants quite a bit...
cheers! the biggest 2 are about 2 1/2 inches and the rest are only about 1 1/2, as soon as they pair i have another heavily planted tank to move a couple to, and im buying another bigger tank in the next couple of weeks! i will post pics when i have it sorted! they have been eating live mealworms, bloodworm and brine shrimp, i feed them once a day and change the food each day... they are lovin it!
