Nice shot's, Is his head unusually blunt or is it just the angle of the camera through the glass ??

He wasn't happy with me taking pics so had puffed his gills and throat up so this could be adding to his bluntness. He is also very fat as he had just had a feed

Are you saying that you have just RECENTLY filled the fish tank with water and installed the filter --- This is a new tank set-up and undergoing/establishing the nitrogen cycle??

Ahh, I see it now, He is FAT lol, they have a low metabolisim i'd cut his diet WAY back, I had to put my asitica can take a long time to loose the excess weight even with minimal feedings.

What do you feed Him ? I also found shrimp made them fat insects seem to be a much better choice. Luckily the summer is the easiest time to put them on a diet they will loose weight faster in the warmer months.

Nice pulchra though, I hope to add some to my collection some day soon.

New tank ? Cycled filter, when I started the filter it kicked aload of debris out hence the mucky water.

He is fed on masivore once a week at most ! Probly 5-6 pellets
