Hy Channafreaks ;-)
here are some pics of my channa pulchra.
I hve ten of them, and I keep them in two 100Litre tanks, until the two new
400litre tanks are ready.
The two tanks are in my sleeping room (and theres a tank with some of my sp. Assam babies too)
And this is what I see, when I'm in bed:

As u see, there is some wood, kettapang leaves, a bit of brown gravel, and some limestone caves.
The caves are often used by the fish, ande there must be more hidinge places than fish,
if not they fight.
The filtration is a matt filter powered by Eheim Aquaball in each of the tanks.
And there is an extra Aquaballpump for current.
The tanks and the room are not heated, so the Temperature is between 16 and 20°C.
The fish are active and interested in everything thats in and outside the tank.
They watch me, not instead of me watching them ;-)
Sometimes there is some argueing:

The fish are between 7 to 13cm longDie Fische sind zwischen sieben und 13 cm lang,
and I put the smaller five in the left tank.
They like to rest on the stones.

why ? They are not tropical .
if It was too cold, they would just stay in the caves, which they do not.
I hat someguppy and Neontetra in another tank in this room. They were colorful and active (until the Channa sp. Assam ate them :D :headbang2 )

just curious. I was under the impression that they were tropical. Thanks for clearing that up
