Hey guys...
It's been a long time since I've posted photos of my fish. Some of you may recall that I had a community going on with my red and a black. Things were good for a year or so, but one day things went bad and I had no choice but to give up the black. I brought it to a LFS and had it sold off to someone with an adequate setup/space.
Now my chili resides in a 180 all alone with a couple of tigers, some polypterus, and a flagtail.
It's so frustrating taking pics of this fish because they never turn out right. All the other fish, I can photograph fine and capture the right colours, but the pics I take of my red just doesn't do it justice... there's a lot more colour to the fish that I can't capture....any tips from the photo pros? Perhaps my lighting is too bright? I have double 4' T5 HO.

You know, I've never cared to give it a measure... but i would estimate it to be around 14-15 inches... Still on the young side... hope the colour darkens with another year or so.

Thanks guys... i like it's gentle nature.
There's a 2" NGT and a 3" IT in there that it will not touch. Any other aro at that size would've definitely devoured them already. It minds it's own business and just cruises the tank. I guess my black used to be the same way, until one day it decided to go evil and take on all the fish.

The black tore off one of the barbels of the red, scratched up it's left eye pretty bad and torn up some fins too. Flagtail also got a beatdown.
I didn't want to do it, but I had to let it go. I loved that black. :(

awesome aro!!!!

Nice arowana. hope it gets its color as it grows. What are you feeding him right now?
