Here are the current cichlas in my community. I recently went through a lot of pbass over the last months trying to decide which one I like and would want to keep. Having gone through several kelberis and finding out they were possible hybrids, having an Orino die on me, and several monocs as starters, I have somewhat decided on these three. They are currently housed in a 100gallon tank with a highback golden arowana, until they outgrow it. A tank upgrade means I can add more cichlas hehehe
Anyway here they are. They have not been sexed yet, so if any of you can help me identify their genders that would be sweet.
My favorite Azul. I really like his unique head markings, and the way he is spangled. This one is definitely a keeper.
The clear Alpha of my tank, the Kelberi Bahia. He is the largest of the three, but he is yet to show any sings of color and spangling even at close to 9 or 10 inches. He is always stressed because he is always going after his two tankmates lol
And here is the latest addition to my community, my Orinocensis. Local fishkeepers say that this is a possible Rio Meta, but who knows? He just recently recovered from a bad case of white spots due to transport stress, but he is all better now. Still haven't eaten since 8 days ago when I brought her in, but I'm pretty sure he will grab a bite soon, after he is done with his hunger strike lol
Now for some group shots hehe and some closeups of my Premium Highback Arowana.
