My Cichla Kelrino ate my Clown Knife!

I just came back from sch and found out that my knifefish was inside of my peacock bass's mouth! Right now,its still inside leaving a few cm of its tail out of its mouth. Will this be harmful to the fish?Do i have to take out the knifefish from its mouth or leave it till its fully swallowed?Heres a picture...Thanks for help in advance!

I feel bad for you, the clown knife is by far a cooler fish than Pbass!.
don't keep predatory fish with anything that even slightly looks like it would fit in its mouth. I've learnt this the hard way as many others have. you wouldn't believe what some fishes can eat. I think Pike Cichlids are the most amazing for that

Yea, My Clown knife was about the pbass size! I was caught unexpected! They were fine together before!

That's a super slow growth rate for a peacock bass

I had the same thing happen but with a BGK... I was pissed.

Why you always hatin on pbass? Seems like most of the threads on pbass have you saying something against them if your gonna hate go back to the poly section or whatever it is u keep
