Hi all,

It's been a while since i've been on here..... been busy with other commitments and holiday etc.

I almost have my tank the way i want it to look and wanted your opinions on how it's lookin......
The Greshakie was recently saved from my lfs that was being tormented by a small tank full of very large agressive auratus with nowhere to hide, I couldn't let him stay there.

Are the yellow fish in pic 7 Male Lombardoi?

i'm not a african tank lover i confess, but i guess it looks like the tipycal mbuna tank. if it was me i whould only use rock the same type and colour, to make it look real, but i guess you are a mbuna guy, and like most mbuna lovers your tank is a typical mbuna tank.... ;)

all the fish look very nice and healthy with great colors. I like the tank setup as well.

Now thats what I think a cichlid tank is supposed to look like.....I wouldn't leave the house if I had that

Thanks tonymofo...... i only wish my other half would allow me to get a 6ft or 8ft tank, We got plenty of room for them. I've always loved cichlids since i seen them at a mates house.....

I've only been keeping them for about 10 months...... I previously had a tropical community tank setup, but always knew that i wanted to get into these but its difficult to get them, I prefer to buy from local breeders.

thanks again and keep comments coming..... I need more new ideas

damn, now that is a nice looking tank. Not typical as previously stated but exceptionally well done. Good job.

i love your tank.. i love all the rocks ..wow ..that just makes it totally outrageous... what are those africans {blue with yellow tail and fins} trying to get id on mine that looks alot like it.. your tank is absolutely gorgeous and you should be very proud of yourself...:D

The fish your asking about in my tank are Pseudotropheus acei....... common name yellow tail acei, or Ps acei 'Luwala reef'..... I think there is another colour variation of white tail acei or the 'Ngara' acei

Thanks to all that have commented so far
