Hello fellow Monster Cichlid Keepers
Around 2 nite ago when i was feeding my fish i noticed my red-head cichlid struggling 2 maintain his balance in the water, i believe him 2 have swim bladder problems and was wondering if any1 cud shed sum lite on the matter?
The tank is in perfect condition and the fish are provided a varied diet (all other fish are fine) (his tankmates include a Red oscar, Green terror, Gold Severum, 2 Silver dollars, Ornate bichir, Feather-fin catfish and a Leopard-fin plec by the way).
He hasen't lost his appetite (yet) and being the dominate cichlid, seems 2 still b keeping all the others in line.
BUT... i havent encountered this problem before and am a bit lost in what to do NOW!!!
Ive read about fasting the fish (but past experience has proved almost fatalfor the weakest) and also feeding him Peas (but he wont touch them),
SO, has any1 got any advice because it would be such a shame to lose such a beutiful fish.
HELP?????
