my cichlids update!!

i got these two cichlids with a 55Gallon tank from a guy!and i just wanted to post up some pictures of when i got them and now. the 1st picture is when i got them and the 2nd and 3rd is now! its a mayan cichlid-7" and a black convict-4"

I really like simple setups like this, only 2 cichlids, not to rare, but still extremely fun and beautiful. That Mayan is turning out nice.

Nice fish, especially liking that mayan. I don't see to many of them. And FYI that's not a black convict, that is just a normal striped convict

Nice fish, same as said before i like the simple tanks where nothing looks too crowded?! Keep it up!!

thanks for the comments and thanks im new to cichlids any help on what these guys might eat other than brimeshrimp, bloodworms, cichlid pellets?

tbh they will eat pretty much anything you put in there ! all my C/A S/A cichlids demolish anything edible thats put into their tanks

Lance fish, krill, crickets, almost anything edible really !

thanks next time i get crickets for my frog i will put some in the cichlid tank!
