Some pics of my cichlids, ID on the black one?

the black one looks like a convict hybrid

I was trying to get a better pic, but i bought it out of a tank of devils, same exact body shape as a devil, no red eye, extremely dark with black striping all the way back and a black spot on the tail fin

ID on the black one?

It's ampholophous midas or red devil going to turn orange soon.

Thank you, i hope so, all of the others were only half its size and already orange, and I've had it almost two months...

For a fish to grow faster, there should be no stress at all for them and good clean water at proper temp at the spot they live. These fish are usually in front wanting food. Your's is not doing that in the picture

I do water changes twice a well and temp is 75, hes doubled his size since i got him but he is definitely not the toughest guy in the aquarium. He eats well tho, will his eye ever turn red?
