Pretty much my CK starved himself to death, as far as I can tell. He was eating fine for awhile, an I mean anything (krill frozen an fried dried, worms, tilapia fillet, carnivore pellets). Then suddenly started to reject everything an would only eat sinking pellets, an soon stopped eating those. This mourning he was Swimming awkwardly an soon was dead. He had a good life, (longer than any other CK ive had).

sorry to hear about that:(

Thats sucks man....

sorry to hear about that. never easy losing a fish. what size was your CK and how old?

He was close to 16" when I pulled him outve the tank, he was bout 8" when I got him. He was only with me for bout 7 Months, an I think he was in the LFS for a month or two.

Don't eat your fish...Especially a dead one.

ok I am not the only one here then with this problem.. I have lost 2 royal clowns now and they both did the same thing.. I have to ask you a few questions and figure this out.. did you have any hint of ammonia? also what water conditioner do you use and have you used any ammonia remover? and one more thing did you ever find any pink fleshy looking things in your tank around when he stopped eating? Both of my clowns stopped eating then they started swimming in circles and a few days later died. One of mine was about 6 inches and the other 11" I can't figure out how I am killing these damn things.. sorry for the loss but lets figure this out.
