I am in same boat. I have mine who is about 4 or inches big. I have had him for about 6 months and has only grown an inch. I more of less forgot about him. He was in my 150g main tank but got picked on so I moved him into my 29g growout tank. He then started picking on my new datnoid so back into the 150g he is.

He only eats frozen food right now though .
