Have a breeding pair of gts in my science classroom. Female jumped ship last night. Found her on the floor a good 5 feet away from the tank. Feel real bad about it. Some of the students are quite upset. There's a handful of their last brood left in the tank. Hopefully the kids will be able to watch the little buggers grow.

Sorry about your loss

the hole that this fish must have jumped through is barely larger than the fish. Been keeping gts on and off again for 15 years, this is my first suicide by floor. One of my students told me it was postpartum depression...

sorry to hear about the loss. Im a school counselor and I got a tank in my office. Kids do love it.

i am sure it wasn't the fish's fault bad for the fish...99% of the time its our fault for not having proper top for the fish tank...good luck

Green Terrors are known jumpers, you have to keep a cover on the tank.

Yeah i found that out i put some in a pond for the summer last year and came back in a few hours and found a bunch had jumped out and the dog was eating them:nilly:.
