my zz male flowerhorn die while breeding proces ,his belly getting bigger for no reason then he float up and stay still while my female rd fh getting lay egg ,so my zz die today ,i dont kno wa to do..i had try to put her with one of my rd male (the one on my avata) but they didnt get along ..it suck that i oly get one batch out of him and he so pretty all purlple ..i wonder why my fish belly get so big and die any one suggesttion?

ZZ is a sub species of FH... there are ZZ, Kamfa, Golden monkey, etc etc etc... ZZ is just one of them, lots of red, light colored body with nice pearls. There are high grade ZZ that are very, very expensive.
here is a high quality Zhen Zhu picture.
Look at this picture, light color (After the red) nice red, big pearls, big unbroken flowerline, almost into the KOK, perfect size body, great fins. Almost a Masterpiece... So, Zhen Zhu are a type of fish, not a rating.

There are high quality ZZ species as i've shown, I have a ZZ female im juicing up right now, pumping her up and getting the red saturation much higher, and brightening up the pearls big time. However she is getting darker and showing stress bars, either she's not used to her home or she might be getting in the mood to breed, i've been juicing her up and giving her shrimp as a treat haha.
