my clown knife fish feeding story

my friend has a 200 gallon fish tank with couple gars, bichers, and a ck the ck was of course better then the gars because if it wasnt it would be dead the ck was the 1st biggest ck i have ever seen and when he feed them gold fishs wow you can feel thier snap of the jaw its insaine it eats goldfish faster then you can see it. :screwy:

anyone have some tight ck storys?
 
CKs are some of the coolest fish to witness during feeding time.
 
i don't feed my ck live food but he is really starting to splash the water and make waves everytime i give him a pellet .. you hear woooosh splat bam type of noise ..takes you by surprize and scary because other times he is gentle.. very strong jaws .. and he isn't going to let anyone else have the pellet if he can see it.........it is gone!:D
 
yea....mine found a nice rock and never came out for a year, then it died because an oscar was so good at out competing it for food.

I loved the fish though the few times I saw it. Amazing creature.

I had an opportunity to buy one that was 14 inch! but didnt have the tank space at the time.
 
I used to hand feed mine, even at 20 inches. He was amazing. Was feeding him pellets one night, he got a little excited, and chomp! Got ahold of my thumb...... :WHOA: It was all I could do not to jerk away. lol My hubby heard me scream and came running in the room to find me stuck in the fish's mouth, then he fell to the floor laughing at me.....:ROFL:

Ha ha thats why i stopped alot of hand feeding..do you still have the 20 inch CK?
