Hi, I keep my clown with 6 silver dollars. Clown is around 12"/ silver dollars are around 4"... Ive kept clown knifes before and kept with silver dollars, ive never had one that would attack a fish it cant eat. I feed the clown 4-5x a week (pellets and shrimp). They have been together for months and this is the first problem. Those with experience is this normal behavior or hopefully a rogue attack? Any advice on how to limit the clowns aggression. I could maybe feed more. Any ideas or advice?

The tank is a 300 gallon, water p's 0-0-30
Here is a pic of the eye less silver dollar :(

Wow that poor silver dollar. I just brought home a Black Ghost Knifefish about 10 minutes ago. I hope this doesn't happen...

I would say it's a rogue event. I kept a clown knife close to 20in plus with a group of silver dollars and never had an issue. Also does depend on the clown knife. My new baby clown has a vendetta against my datnoid.

I had a 20+ inch clown that was an absolute jerk. If it didn't like a fish, it relentlessly attacked and bullied it. We tried moving it around tank to tank. Ended up selling it. I couldn't keep up with all of the traveling I do.

I have a 50cm clown with a number of fish, never had problems, if not already done so, I would euthanase the silver dollar
