hi everybody i had my clown knife for a week now and he seems to be heathy but he hasnt moved and i havnt really seen him get any food. he does even get excited to eat. can sombody please tell me what they really should eat and of hes ever going to come around and start swimmin aroun with his pal.......he is living with a alligator gar a silver arowana and a polypterus endlichery.

My royal clown knife didn't eat for a couple weeks when I put it in my big tank. After a few weeks the clown started getting a little more brave and started to pick at some food (pellets and shrimp)but would swim off fast and hide again. Now its out all the time to feed with the rest of my monsters.

Give it some time. Im sure it will come around. Mine loves sinking pellets, shrimp, cut up tilapia and just about anything I throw in the tank.

thanks man...yea ive had him for a little under 2 weeks now just hoping everything is ok.....i know the water is good cause i test it every to days for everything just wanted some info...like i said looks very healthy just didnt know what it could be but ill def give him his time......havnt really seen him eat so i was getting a little worried

Hardy like you knife can go some time with out food. I had some pipes for my knifes to hide in to make them feel secure, he will start eating once he feels a home in your tank, no worries.
