My clown loach

My clown loach has been laying on the bottom of my tank and not moving and he only moves when I touch him with the net. So what does that mean could he be dying

Clown loaches will sleep on their side. Mine do that as well sometimes. My guess would be that he's fine and you startle him with the net.

Great that's what I thought it was but wasn't for sure.

Water parameters? What temp.? Have you seen him eat? Does it have hiding spots in the tank? Could just be sleeping, but mine (especially my 3" and under ones) are active as heck!
