I have a 440 gallon tank and my fish got ick. I have 2 clown loaches what would be the best treatment thats affordable if any? please help:confused:

Turn up the heat to 86 degrees or so and add aquarium salt.

careful with malachite green if you go that route. Loaches are very sensitive to it having no scales. They are hyper sensitive to other medications as well so be careful.

Yeah, Copper Safe is a pretty good method with loaches as well. If you have any plants or inverts though, they'll be in trouble

if you go the medication route then i suggest interpets anti-whitespot if you can get it. it can be used at full strength and it works great.

If you have other fishes in the tank I'd remove them to another tank to treat separately so they wont spread.

temp to 85 and salt worked for me and water changes... ick was gone in less than a week

I would never try copper sulfate with scaleless fish. Simply dissolve salt and increase heat. Meds are just last resorts.
