my cockatoo cichlid set up and fish

hey everyone here is my new adventure.. I bought 10 cockatoo cichlids for my 55. I got 4 males and 6 females and am trying my hand at breeding somthing a little harder than convicts. I could only get pics of a few fish.. I have one mature male that is very colorful but he's camera shy.

got all 10 of them off of aquabid for $50.00 including shipping. I think that is a very good deal myself.

Awesome man! Watch out for aggression between the males....as there might be a little bit of it...haha. If you are serious about breedin them, get some coconut halves...drill a few .5" holes in it.... They are more cave spawners. Hope it works out for yaz! Love the set up! Plastic plants?

thanks for the info. Yeah I went plastic plants for now because if I need to remove them to harvest the fry it won't be so dificult. we will see how it works for now.
