My Community Tank

Hi, i have been a member on this site for a while and figured i would post the tank i have had for over a year. I plan on getting a 125 or 180 when i get out of college, and it cant come soon enough. Sorry i will post pics on sunday when i get home.

55Gal

2 mating pairs of cons (constatnly fry in the tank) (4-5")
1 female pink con (4")
1 jd not sure on the sex ( 5-6")
1 jag not sure of the sex but im leaning toward female (5-7")

They all get a long to which i find weird since its only a 55, every now and then there is chasing but it never gets more than that.

A 180gal would be your best bet. But, what do you do with the fry?

Wow, I'm surpised you can keep that stock with a mated pair of cons. None of the con pairs I ever had would allow that to happen.

He probably means that the fry will constantly be eaten by bigger fish

ya we just leave them and let the managuense and jd eat them. there are 2 pairs of mating cons one in each corner.

I have a mating pair in my 150 most of the fry get ate, but some somehow escape. The cons aggresively protect there young my female was blinded in one eye there last batch.

The first picture is of one pair of mating cons, i tried to get their fry in there but you couldnt make them out. The second is the JD does anyone know the sex, im thinking female, and the last 2 of our the other male and female pair of cans, they dont have fry right now. I tried to get the managuense and pink con but they wouldnt come out long enough to get a picture.
