my convict and firemouth bred!

my female con and male firemouth bred in my 45 hex. They were digging a cave under a rock then it collapsed so they just decided to lay on top of the rock. lol but he doesnt stay with her as good as a normal con pair, and so i am not sure if they are firtilized yet because they are too young to turn white. but i am so excited!!..i am hoping to grow out a few of the babies like one or two to keep for myself the rest will become feeders. but i will stay updated!

I'd possibly set aside my deep hatred towards all things convict and get one.

that is what i was thinking. i don't think that a barred firemouth would look that good. IMO

Ugh, I cant imagine what they will look like, I guess pics will tell in time...

well the eggs were infertile but this is the fist time my FM has bred with anything so hopefully they will do it again within next 2 weeks. And as for picture there are some if yo search like firecon but do a bit of searching here and you will find some.
