So my blood parrot is growing like crazy and so I had to swap the fish in my two tanks. The parrot went into the 40g breeder and my con was demoted to the 29g. During the swap of fish and decor, I decided to switch the sand in thje con's new tank to Tahitian moon sand. (Light sand seems to wash him out). Well the $25 upgrade was worth it!

The change was immediate. His color is much improved and he looks much more at ease, even though he's in a smaller tank! I also measured him, he's 5.5 inches TL. Here's some pics...

Thanks for the comments. :-) After the cloudiness in the water cleared I was able to get a better picture of his trailers. But now the glass has water marks. :-\

Nice, I always mix my PFS with some TMS for that reason. The TMS is finer and lighter than the Pool sand and I like the look of the mix, all black like yours is very nice looking too. The Cons colors are better with the contrast. What color light are you using over him?

I've got 24" Marineland Double Bright LEDs over the tank. I reeeeeally like it, so much so that I'm switching my 40g breeder to the same type.

I like the light what are those LED's going for?
