so how much do you think will survive with my 2 oscars? one is 5.5 inches and other is 6 inches.. they hatched sometime last nite or today!

If the cons don't kill the Oscars (and everything else), the Oscars and other fish will likely eat all the fry eventually.
my 10" oscar couldnt get near my convict fry infact in the end i had to rehome the convicts because they are evil!
the cons will fight with the oscars to keep them away and they will get VERY violent. the cons really could harm your oscars or get harmed themselves. if you want them to grow out without another tank id suggest a tank divider.
Worry more about the Oscars being hurt than the Convict babies being eaten. Convict parents will kill far more aggressive cichlids than Oscars when it comes to protecting their fry. Out of all the cichlids that I have raised, Convicts were the best and most vicious parents. I'm sure as time goes on the fry will be picked off one by one, but the parents will keep on fighting all the way until their next clutch. Then the process will start all over again.
Divider is a good idea for the safety of the fry and for the oscars. My little guy from my first batch seems to do fine avoiding mine.
