I breed cons to feed my Oscar, BGK, and Hemibagrus catfish. My Id shark even picks off a few.. basically I keep the pair behind a divider and let them raise fry to about a cm then I move the parents to the next tank, yank the divider and boom! Instant buffet.. :banghead::banghead:

The parents will end up eating the fry right before they spawn the next time, so you would want to remove either the parents or the fry from the tank 3-4 weeks from the time they become free swimming.

Is this just convicts that do this? I've bred jags, Trimacs, Hartwegi and convicts consecutive times and the only danger I've ever seen to the fry is from their older siblings.
