My convicts finally mated and they are the first fish that ive had in my house to breed that are actually mine. Normally they were my dads fish. Im pretty excited about it lol

ya ik lol thats why i got em, im tired of paying for feeders! My lima goes through em like crazy and i figure that convict are better than rosies right?
Man that's awesome! When mine bred I was so happy, but as you will find out, it's a whole lotta fun watching them tend to their young. It's even more fun if you have more fish in the tank, so you can witness the couple chase them away and defend their young!
