One thing I will say, and from experience that Convicts make for the most part excellent parents. Before I regained my sanity, I bred them.

i like convicts they make great feeder fish.....my biology teacher had a 55g with a pair in it and they bred all the time it was fun to watch them grow

Cool viddy. Don't listen to those elitists who don't like convicts! They are fab lookin' little fishies with personality! I don't need to say how awsome they can look as adults. Your avatar speaks for itself! Besides, what would all those "anti-convict" elitists do without them as homegrown feeders? Viva commons!
