They're great, but when they get large it gets so bad you have to cut the food up for them and hand feed them to get enough. lumpy is severely bad. His skull does about a 65 degree angle now. His lower jaw protrudes about 1/2" in front of his upper. He looked about like this one at 12". I assume your's will eventually do the same lol. Only difference is your's has pelvic fins and mine doesn't.
No, my channel had his pectoral fin ripped almost all the way out by my old jau. He only has like half a fin, kinda like nemo I guess. My TSN only has one pelvic fin ray if you look back through the pics in the catfish bonanza thread. I could tell he was deformed when I bought him, I love him anyway. Had him like a year and 3 months now. He' be close to 2' if not for this deformity. His head is about 3.5"-4" wide now.
