My Cousins Tank

My Cousins tank smells like sulfur does anyone know if this is normal. He told me his fish were fine but im worried :/.

idk if he has tested it but my friends water used to smell like sulfur but was just fine. His parents installed a purifier looked like a giant hot water heater and it was all good after that.

I don't think so we live like 10 Min from NYC so i doubt its well water.

hehe if you dont do a gravel vac in a while or wc (like a few months) and you feed alot it will start to smell like sulfur. easist waay is do a big WC n make sure you really vac all the muk in the gravel

Fill the bath tub, if it stinks like his tank then you will know.

Do some water changes and vacuum the substrate.

I know Prime has a slight sulfur smell, and Amquel [sp?] will reaaaaallly make the tank smell like it.
