I have a mini-crab (thats what the store called him, at least) and he has recently started to molt. The only problem is that he doesn't seem to be doing a good job of it. He hasn't moved in a while and he's only half out of his old exoskeleton. I'm unfamiliar with the molting process, so maybe everything is fine.

Do you think I should help him out somehow? And if so, how? I'm kind of worried about him because I liked his personality.

Thanks in advance.

Never mind, he's dead :(. I think my Senegalus caused a premature molt by biting the crab. The added stress probably didn't help either. Actually thats just a wild hypothesis. I don't actually know. I'll be holding a funeral service for him tomorrow.

Thanks for the condolences. He lived a good life and sired many young. His offspring will continue to live his legacy and further his lifetime pursuit of world domination. Well, tank domination, at least.

RIP Mini Crab... Why does the good die young?!!:(

Btw, how big is the crab?
He was actually really big (for a mini-crab). He was about the size of my fist, which is just slightly smaller than the average, human, male fist. I wish I had taken a picture of him before the tragedy.
