Mi
Its a 55g aqueon with stand. Came with ehiem ecco 60g canister filter, Penguin 350 bio wheel, 4ft Odyssea t5 HO w/ led lunar lights, 300 watt heater , Jalli thermometer/heater controller, 60+ lbs of live rock, petco power head, 50g worth of salt mix, sw test kit, and hydrometer for 300$ all with in a 30 minute drive! The best part was I was looking to change my 29g over to sw and did my research and came up with an estimate of roughly $300 for sand, rock, light, testing supplies. The day i was about to go buy that stuff i decided to check craiglist one last time and found it!:headbang2

Pics are in my album sorry im still a newb and have no idea how to post them in the threads!

Stock is 1x green wolf eel, 1x emerald green crab 2x Turbo snails, 6 times astrea snails, and 1 anemone which was sucked into filter last night =/. Love the green wolf eel (Congrogadus subducens) he is not shy and seems overly aggressive. He eats silversides of the end of a feeder stick. Anytime he see his reflection he looks as if he is having seizures, then gill flares, and stikes the glass . I want to add more fish but not sure what to add , for sure not anything he can fit in his mouth!

Looks Great!!

I would get rid of the green wolf eel, and add a pair of clowns and some sort of goby. Then focus on inverts and add a few soft corals/shrooms etc.
Nice pickup.

Hey, if you really like that green wolf go ahead and keep him, I had a snowflake and he was awsome! Too bad he jumped out of the tank....leads to some advice, keep top closed securely.

For tank mates I honestly don't know cause a 55 gallon really isn't big enough for kinds of fish that the eel woudn't eat...Maybe small species of puffers (tobies)...your gonna need good filteration and possibly a protein skimmer... Good Luck

Also I had started an agressive tank (Lion fish, Eel, Trigger...)....I'd say about 120 gallon plus is good for a nice predetor tank....right now I have a 72 gallon so gonna try to do a peaceful community tank...

Im am almost certain i want to keep the green wolf eel. I thought about
swapping the stuff out of the 55 into my 90 so i can add more fish. If it was in a standard 90 what could i add? Thinking along the lines of lionfish, trigger, grouper, and or other eels. Not all them but any that would make good tankmates in the 90 let me know.
