The other day I picked up a Bamboo Shrimp(wood shrimp, singapore shrimp, whatever you want to call it) and he's been doing well so far. He has discovered that a great place to sit and filter feed is hanging upside down on the output of the filter with his claws in the current. I feed him by putting powdered freeze dried bloodworms or algae tablets in the water. The tank is heavily planted so I'm sure there's already a lot for him to eat. This morning I went to look at him and could not find him ANYWHERE in the tank. After about 5 minutes of searching I saw this out of the corner of my eye...

He had somehow climbed into the filter and was sitting on top of the sponges with his claws right where all the water pours into it.

After a couple hours he decided to crawl back into the tank.
