Lame thread but i wish i could explain how happy i am that i just saw my crested eat crix for the first time.He was dead on target too.What a cool little guy.

My pair has yet to eat in front of me, ignored wax worms for the first two weeks - but they're acting healthy at night when they don't think I'm looking...must be eating the TRex when I'm not paying attention.
well i only noticed very small holes in the dish of peach baby food mixed with either cgd or calcium.Usualy after a day or 2.I wouldnt notice on the first day.Lately since the warmer nights,i noticed larger spots missing.So today i said what the heck and dusted some small crix.I dropped in 5 and he was up top.One went up the vines and he took a 5 foot jog and with a care bear stare he launched at it and bam!It just makes me know he gets the calcium you know?Im hoping he will eentualy take cgd by itself but right now it seems all is fine.I think the warmer nights did some good maybe.
Crested are real enjoyable to watch hunting, too. They're all around awesome geckos, mine are right next to my bed iwth a red light on so I can watch em' at night - they're so clumsy with their jumping. Last night I watched the male try to climb down a wall and pretty much biff it straight into the ficus tree, then bounce onto the floor...
oh you bum,lol.I whent to target a few weeks ago and bought a red bulb and a cheep desk lamp amongst a bunch of important stuff like tp and soap and such.I couldnt wait till night to place it next to my bed so i could do the same thing.I got all ready and in bed all excited and turned it on.The bulb burned out instantly.I yelled wtf and cursed out target to my dog.lol.Still havnt got a new one.dirtyblacksocks;1645341; said:
