ha. here he is. his woman is somewheres in these. i'm waiting for him to build his nest, but for the past 2 weeks.... nothing. if not, then i'll bring another male in. in my first attempt in breeding, i had about 50 fry and none made it. :( it was pretty sad, but it's how you learn. enjoy! let me know what you think!

Bettas really aren't my thing but he looks good and good luck with the next batch of fry.
 
are you trying to raise the fry in the spotless tanks you showed them in? i have had real good luck with raising fry in a tank i keep in front of a window that has alot of alge and is very well established. they can feed off the natural materials in betwwen feedings. just my input.

i move the male out after the fry hatch depending on whether he is eating them or not, and the fry lived for about a week and then slowly died off. i feed them an egg-based liquid food though, so IMO they are getting what they need nutrition-wise.
